Ci’s principals were tasked by Kane Realty to convert a struggling enclosed mall into an open-air city-within-a-city, then a pioneering concept. Faced with challenging topography, the team created a unique district that incorporated existing anchors and concealed new parking into the hillside and below grade. The result, an open series of urban streets, blends seamlessly into greater Raleigh and has become a sought-after location to live, work and play.
