Ci converted the first floor of an existing office building into state-of-the-art R&D labs, an animal care facility, collaborative office space and amenities for a gene therapy firm devoted to discovering and developing breakthrough medicines. The project team developed a specialized fire-resistive design to ensure fire-rated control areas for labs within a laminated timber mill building. Ci met a tight project schedule for the client’s timely move-in with limited disruption to surrounding tenants.
