TIM SCHELFE RECEIVES ASID 50 AWARD ALONGSIDE INTERIOR DESIGN GIANTS

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) honored Principal and Interior Design & Procurement Director Tim Schelfe, FASID, with the ASID 50 Award to commemorate the organization’s 50th anniversary. This outstanding achievement recognizes members who have reflected ASID’s passion, dedication and innovation throughout their career.
“Receiving this award alongside interior designers who are creating waves in the industry has been a great honor,” said Tim. “ASID aims to promote thriving and vibrant environments to work, live, learn, play and heal. The same goals ring true in every project I’ve been able to shape and craft throughout my interior design career.”
Tim’s incredibly diverse career spanning four decades includes large-scale multi-family communities, mixed-use developments, senior living facilities, hospitality spaces, commercial office and custom residential work. Currently at Ci, he established a successful interior design portfolio for the award-winning architecture firm and a procurement service that delivers unparalleled industry knowledge, financial expertise and project management for clients looking to amplify their placemaking with a team specialized in turn-key FF&E.
Beyond his professional work, he is deeply committed to giving back. For the past four decades, Tim has actively volunteered with ASID, advancing from committee and chapter roles to Chapter President, serving two terms on the ASID National Board of Directors, and ultimately leading as Chair of the ASID National Board.
