Ci worked with the Town of Acton to modify the local zoning ordinance through a successful public vote, enabling the construction of Insulet’s first US headquarters. The 420,000 SF clean integrated assembly manufacturing project consisted of new ground-up construction, an existing full-build renovation and new 4-tier, 600-car structured parking. The facility features 100,000 SF of ISO 7 and ISO 8 pilot, clean assembly and manufacturing, and incorporated GPS-controlled AIV automation for improved efficiency.

The multi-phased design fast-tracked initial build to meet immediate manufacturing demands, expanded the facility to accommodate full-scale production and allowed 24/7 operations to remain uninterrupted. Ci is also currently renovating the adjacent 100,000 SF facility.
