Ci worked with 1366 Technologies to design their 250-megawatt Direct Wafer plant with a planned capacity expansion to 1 gigawatt. The project design that Ci provided included, but was not limited to, general lab and process biochemistry lab spaces, clean environments, manufacturing space, R&D space, chemical storage and wastewater treatment capabilities, bulk gas distribution, cold rooms, shipping and receiving, and supporting office space. The facility recently achieved a record 20.5% efficiency with this Direct Wafer process.
