Ci recently hired Steven Ritchie as a Science & Technology Principal. He brings more than three decades of experience in the industry, with projects ranging from ground-up medical device manufacturing facilities to labs for chemistry, research and development, and biotechnology.
“We’re excited to have Steven on board as he brings an eye for scientific innovation and a background of successful design-build relationships, with experience on both sides of design and construction,” said Ci Vice President and COO Christopher M. Ladd.
Steven’s expertise in lab planning, master planning and interior design shapes his multi-faceted approach to every project. At his previous firm, he successfully led and bolstered the life sciences market sector and project teams through design and delivery. He has developed a significant client base, having worked with industry leaders such as Takeda, Boston Scientific, Repligen and Philips.
“Ci’s breadth of work in Science & Technology and the firm’s reputation of quality results drew me in,” said Steven Ritchie. “I’m excited to be working with former colleagues again and continue to build out the firm’s significant portfolio with the insights and relationships I’ve gleaned from my experience in this sector.”
His global design insights and skills in QA/QC, code review, schematic design, design development and construction will add to Steven’s critical role in Ci’s Science & Technology practice.
Based on last year’s revenue, Ci was ranked the 22nd Largest Science & Technology Facility Architecture Firm and the 23rd Largest Laboratory Design Firm in the nation in Building Design + Construction.
