Associate Principal David Marcozzi was recently sworn in by Baltimore Mayor Brandon M. Scott as a board member of the Baltimore City Board of Municipal and Zoning Appeals (BMZA).
"It's been gratifying to support the city that I was born and raised in at this capacity," said David. "It's a great opportunity to support my community and my fellow board members with my extensive architectural background as it applies to the zoning appeals process."
The BMZA hears appeals from decisions made by other Baltimore city agencies about zoning and land use, alley and sidewalk violation notices, street closings and more. Its decisions are based on laws that aim to protect the health, safety, and well-being of the community.
He was also recently appointed as 1 of 15 Southeast Community Development Corporation (SECDC) board members alongside prestigious local leaders who promote healthy, vibrant and diverse communities in East and Southeast Baltimore.
We're excited to see David help shape the City of Baltimore through his work at Ci and now at the BMZA and SECDC!
