Ci RANKS AS ENR TOP 500 DESIGN FIRM FOR THE FIRST TIME

This year, Ci Design, Inc. landed on Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms list for the first time.

Recognized as one of the industry’s most respected benchmarks, ENR’s annual ranking evaluates the largest US-based design firms based on design revenue. For Ci, earning a place on the list for the first time marks a significant milestone in the firm’s continued growth across its practices in Science & Technology, Mixed-Use & Residential, Mission Critical, and Industrial Manufacturing.

Over the past several years, Ci has expanded its national footprint while strengthening its multidisciplinary capabilities and client partnerships. The firm’s services have continued to evolve, offering not only architecture but in-house expertise in planning, interiors, procurement, lab and manufacturing planning, experiential graphics and branding, and landscape design.

Since January 2026, Ci has grown its staff by 30% while expanding its presence in Baltimore, Boston, Dallas and Raleigh. As the firm looks ahead, Ci remains focused on strategic growth, strengthening its regional footprint and expanding expertise across rapidly evolving industries.

According to ENR, domestic design revenue for Top 500 firms increased 8.1% this year, fueled in part by growing demand in sectors such as manufacturing, telecommunications and data centers. As Ci continues expanding its Mission Critical and Science & Technology practices, the firm is strategically positioned within some of the industry’s fastest-growing sectors.
