Tim Schelfe brings more than 40 years of professional design experience as Principal and Director of Interior Design & Procurement. Schelfe collaborates with the firm’s interior design practice, drives business development, provides strategic visioning, guides project execution, and implements best practices for procurement.

Throughout his extensive and distinguished career, Schelfe has received more than 40 design awards for his diverse portfolio in multi-family, hospitality, commercial, senior living, and custom residential interior design. He is a distinguished Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers and served as Chair of the National Board of Directors for ASID and as a Past President of the ASID Carolinas Chapter. In 2025, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) honored Tim with the prestigious National Designer of Distinction Award. This Legacy Award celebrates Tim's extensive career as an ASID practitioner who has advanced the interior design profession. In addition, Tim was also presented with the ASID 50 Award, underscoring his passion, dedication, and career-long commitment to innovation in interior design.
