The IDEXX Horizon Center in Scarborough, Maine is a 114,000-square-foot manufacturing facility with supporting office spaces and an expansive warehouse component with cold and freezer storage and 40-foot-high ceilings for the biotechnology research company focused on ensuring the safety of milk and water around the world and maintaining the health and well-being 
of livestock, poultry, and horses.

Support space and a full-size cafeteria enhance the facility’s amenities. Ci provided architectural and planning services alongside Cianbro, AZ Corp, Gorril Palmer, and E2 Engineers. Code Red Consultants performed both the chemical and code analysis with Ci. The project’s design bolsters IDEXX’s future growth in developing and manufacturing diagnostic tests.
