Located along the Hackensack River in Northern New Jersey, the Atwater includes 421 luxury apartments, from studios to 3-bedroom units, including 42 affordable units within five buildings. The project also features a community clubhouse and ground-level retail on 13 acres. The site was five feet below the floodplain, so Ci created a design that raised the land by five feet to permit the construction of a Riverwalk that would be open to the public during daylight hours.
