Formerly City Place Mall, the $70 million redevelopment and expansion of the 350,000 sf enclosed shopping mall consists of six levels of retail, restaurants, and entertainment, anchored by Marshalls, TJMaxx, Michaels, Ross, and Burlington. Located at Colesville Road and Fenton Street, near Ellsworth Drive and one block north of Georgia Avenue (Route 97),  the center serves an exceptionally densely populated community, boasting more than 228,200 people within a 3-mile radius. The redevelopment project includes reconfiguration of the center to draw shoppers to anchors on multiple levels, renovating a well-kept but dated interior, and creating more activity on the street-level exterior.
