Crystal McKenzie, AIA is a registered architect and NCARB certified professional with more than five years of experience providing design services for a number of project types.  Ms. McKenzie’s experience includes mixed-use, civic, institutional, office, retail and advanced technology centers.

Ms. McKenzie is a creative designer, architectural technician and team leader who consistently delivers projects successfully and within critical project deadlines.  With an attention to detail and a well-rounded technical background, Ms. McKenzie works effectively with internal and external teams to deliver efficient design solutions that suit the client’s needs.

Since relocating to the firm’s Baltimore office in 2013, Ms. McKenzie has been involved with the design of Metropica, a new 4 million sf urban mixed-use development, as well as several other commercial developments and fit-out projects.  While working in the firm’s Boston office, Ms. McKenzie led production efforts on a number of domestic and international research and development centers and integrated photovoltaic manufacturing facilities.

Ms. McKenzie attended Syracuse University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture.  She is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, serving as Associate Director on AIA Baltimore’s Board of Directors.  She is also actively engaged with the Emerging Professionals Committee where as co-chair of the committee she has enhanced community outreach and handled the group’s finances, successfully promoting several new scholarship opportunities and program initiatives
